Start 3 to 6 months ahead at minimum. Ordered gowns can take up to three months to arrive, bridesmaids' dresses take about a month once everyone's measurements are in, and a proper alteration needs at least a week or two before the day. The earlier you start, the calmer every one of those steps gets.
The dress itself, bridesmaids ordering and coordination, and alterations by our in-house seamstress — hems, bodice fitting, bustles for the train. And because the flowers are made here too, the bouquet gets matched to the gown in the same room. The groom's side is covered as well: tuxedo rentals fitted in person.

Bridal alterations are where most of the fit actually happens, and ours are done in this building rather than sent out. Most alteration work runs $25 to $75. You are fitted by the same seamstress every visit, in the same shop where you bought the dress — nobody is handing your gown between three parties.
Walk-ins are always welcome, but for wedding dresses we recommend calling ahead — we like to give brides our undivided attention, and a quick call makes sure you get it.
